Mutant Auctions does not directly store any of your credit card details. All payment processing is done through secure third party payment processors, such as Paypal and ClickandBuy. However, in order to provide a safe auction environment and to credit accounts within a timely manner, we store some information related to transactions, such as the amount of a transaction or the time and date of a transaction. All of this data is made avaliable to you through your My Account page.

How we use your information.

Your name, age, sex, and postal address are used to ensure the fairness of auctions. We only allow one account per person and per household, and collecting this information helps us enforce the security of the auction environment. We may collect your telephone numbers and communicate this, along with your name and address, to our shipping company in the event that you win an auction.

Third party use for transparency.

Occasionally, Mutant Auctions commissions internal reviews and external programming teams in order to maintain the security and transparency of our system. In these circumstances, it may be necessary for us to allow these third parties access to some of your information. We do our best to protect your privacy and limit the information shared with these parties, and only share information to the extent that it is necessary for the functioning of the system. We designed our software so that we can share information necessary for review and development, without you being personally traced to credit transactions, bids, or any actions that you might have taken on the site. This ensures your privacy even while we develop our software and review our services.
